I’m absolutely fed up with the relentless stream of unwanted phone calls!

I’ve received a call pretending to be from EE, and I suspect it’s a scam, to be honest. It really goes against my better judgement.

I received a dubious call from someone claiming to be from EE, stating I was eligible for a 35% reduction on my phone bill. Quite amusingly, I don’t even have an account with them! Clearly, someone’s trying their luck with a spoof.

Received a call without a sound and upon investigating, it turns out to be a fraudulent operation.

Received a message informing me of a missed call from this number, but when I took a peek at my call history, there was nothing there. Seems like it’s probably a dodgy scam, if you ask me!

It’s a con, best not to pick up!

Received a call from a number based in Glasgow. I usually ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers, and this one didn't leave a voicemail. It's typically the case that legitimate callers will drop a message. When I tried to return the call, it just wouldn’t go through. Clearly a scam!

I received a couple of calls today that my phone identified as "Possible Scam", but I didn’t pick them up. They didn’t leave any voicemails, and I’ve got a personal policy: if I don’t recognise the number and there’s no message, they’re certainly dodgy. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked them.

I didn't utter a word, and then the call just cut off.

I received a call from this number that flagged up as a possible scam on my mobile. When I picked up, the person on the other end said they were calling from O2.

Ignored the call since it was a Glasgow number and I didn't recognise it.

Seems like there's a bit of a ruse going on here with EE, claiming they're giving a 35% reduction on the bill. What a load of tosh!

Received a rather dubious call claiming they could slash my phone bill by 40%. Turns out, the caller was based overseas and seemed utterly convinced I was with O2, despite me clarifying that I’m not. Their reaction was quite fiery when I corrected them! I've since put them straight in the blocked contacts. What a nuisance!

On the 3rd of February 2023, I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2. They inquired if I had a contract with them, to which I replied negatively. The moment I said I wasn’t, they hung up without a second thought. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Having gone through these remarks, I can't help but think I should've picked up the phone. Imagine the amusement I could've had playing around with those scam artists!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Glasscow, but their command of English was rather poor. They attempted to inform me that my EE subscription had lapsed and insisted I provide my credit card details. The trouble is, I don’t even have an EE account!

I received a call from this number, and when I picked up, I chose to remain silent. They ended the call shortly after, which felt rather suspicious. If they were on the up and up, surely they would have identified themselves properly. Clearly, this is a dodgy caller!

Claimed to be from EE, stating he had my account details and that my credit standing was quite favourable. I told him that if he truly had my information at hand, he ought to mention my name for us to proceed with the chat. He promptly ended the call, so it’s clear this was a scam attempt.

Nobody bothered to say a word. It’s likely just some kind of automated service verifying whether the phone number is genuine. Ignoring it seems like the wisest approach to handle the situation.

Received a call claiming to be from EE. The chap stated he had my account details right in front of him and was able to see my solid credit score with them. I replied, “If you can view my account, then you should be able to mention my name if we're to keep this chat going.” He promptly hung up, so I’m certain it was a scam.

I picked up a call from a number that seemed to be based in Coventry, but they just hung up on me. Shortly thereafter, I received another call from a Glasgow number, +44 247 542 7432. I have a creeping suspicion it’s the same bunch! Definitely a scam operation! I'd advise against answering any of their calls!

There was a pronounced echo during the call, and a chap with a heavy accent rambled on, inquiring about the services offered by 3. The line was cut off when he struggled to provide a clear or pertinent response.

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be an O2 representative, indicating that they were set to apply a discount to my account and that I should be on the lookout for a forthcoming text message with a specific code. They insisted that I would have to provide this code to them in order for the discount to be processed. However, the message I received wasn’t as expected; it contained an account recovery code with a clear warning not to share it with anyone, even people from O2. When I raised the concern that their request seemed quite off, the caller dismissed my doubts and reiterated their demand for the code. After that, I decided to end the call. It was evident that this was a scam attempt aimed at gaining access to my phone account via the O2 online service, preying on those who might overlook the warning in the text. The number attempted to contact me multiple times afterwards, but I've since blocked it.
