Got called about some accident claim or something, but the person on the phone had my name totally wrong, so I just ended up hanging up.

I got a call from someone claiming I’d had a little accident with my car and could get £1000 compensation for this ‘bump’. The dude had a really strong Indian accent and couldn’t give me any info about what had happened or even what car I was apparently driving. Seemed like a total scam to me. Didn’t report anything cause it was never there in the first place.

I dialled 1471 after this number called me and it came up as 00141. So I dropped a zero and ended up on this site. The call was the usual rubbish, something about a car crash or whatever. I gave them some stick and then just hung up.
