Just like loads of others have said, it's an insurance scam. I blagged them for about 15 minutes with a bogus accident story. They were proper chuffed, thinking they could sort me a payout, then I told them it was all a fib.

Some lady with a Polish accent said she was from the 'Claims Team' and was shouting over background noise, probably from a big call centre. I asked her to give me their company registration number, but instead she wanted my email, which I refused to give because I already get loads of spam. Then when I asked how she had my info, she just cut the call right away.

They specifically inquired about O/T by name. I mentioned that they weren't reachable, but then they started prattling on about some sort of accident. That’s when I thought I’d have a bit of fun and spun a yarn about my skateboard mishap, even cheekily asking if they were ringing to sort out a replacement. Honestly, these calls are getting right on my nerves! The only explanation I can come up with is that they must be getting my number from job hunting websites because I hardly ever get pestered on my personal mobile.
