Just like loads of others have said, it's an insurance scam. I blagged them for about 15 minutes with a bogus accident story. They were proper chuffed, thinking they could sort me a payout, then I told them it was all a fib.

Some lady with a Polish accent said she was from the 'Claims Team' and was shouting over background noise, probably from a big call centre. I asked her to give me their company registration number, but instead she wanted my email, which I refused to give because I already get loads of spam. Then when I asked how she had my info, she just cut the call right away.

But when I asked for the postcode, they couldn’t provide one and just ended the call. Tried looking it up, but nothing comes up anywhere. Definitely dodgy.

Somebody called asking for O/T specifically. I said they weren't here, and then they started rambling about some accident. So, to mess around a bit, I spun a tale about a skateboard mishap and asked if the call was about a replacement or something. These annoying calls are driving me mad. I reckon they must grab your number from job hunting websites, 'cos my personal mobile is never bugged like this.
