My phone got a call from 01416289972 on 13th July 2024. The caller ID said Glasgow but it was obvious it was one of those automated call centre machines cos it took a bit before anyone spoke. A guy answered, not sounding Scottish at all, more like he had an African accent. He was quite polite, asked how I was doing, and when I played along, he went straight into pitching some unbelievable o2 deal. It smelt like a scam, trying to get people’s bank details. When I asked who I was supposed to be, he just cut the call off. Definitely dodgy!
