It seems this was some kind of loan firm; they’ve swindled my cash and now are ignoring my attempts to contact them. The name on the call was Spencer.

I received a rather alarming call on Friday from a company identifying itself as Direct Finance. After I informed them I'd decided against proceeding with a loan, they shockingly insisted they would continue to deduct £100 monthly from my account over the next three months. When I protested, they bluntly replied that they could do so as they possessed all my banking information! I've since escalated the matter to the authorities, including the police and Action Fraud. What a stressful situation!

I've been inundated with calls from this company throughout the day. I've finally decided to lodge a complaint against them.

I've no clue who this number belongs to - the 0141 area code points to Glasgow, but I’m nowhere near there myself. They've called me three times already today, and it's becoming quite bothersome. Time to put a stop to it and block them!
