A young chap, with a distinctly British twang mixed with what seemed like an Indian lilt, got in touch with me. He asserted that he was associated with the British Legal and Justice Department, and handed me a number to ring him back: 0141 6288811. When I inquired about his name, he introduced himself as Alwyn Williams - though I can’t be too certain about the spelling.
