got a call from a guy with an asian accent, talking super quick, claiming to be from direct energy board. i asked him what that even was, told him i wouldn’t hand over any details to a firm i’ve never heard of. then he started rambling about direct energy scams, so i asked if he was involved in one. he just replied, ‘madam you are really dumb.’ haha, it’s always funny when these scammers get all annoyed because you see through their tricks.

Was getting loads of calls asking about electricity stuff, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

So, this bloke called saying he was from Opus - which I’m with at the moment - and mentioned my contract was about to expire. He even said he worked in some audit verification team at Opus. But when I rang Opus up, they told me there’s no office in Glasgow or anything like that. Pretty clear they're just pulling a stunt, trying to trick us into switching.
