Watch out for the number 70141 587 4840. I just got an automated call pretending to be from revenue and customs saying they're looking into some tax fraud connected to me and told me to press 1 to speak to someone. It sounded dodgy right away, so I just ended the call immediately. Please don’t answer or press any buttons if you get a call from this number - it’s definitely some kind of scam. Stay safe, everyone!

Got a call today at 12.40 pm from 0141 647 1135, but it showed up as an international number on my phone. When I answered, there was just silence and then the line cut off. Definitely feels like a scam to me, so I'm flagging it as risky. Absolute rubbish behaviour from whoever's behind this.

My parents got contacted by a firm saying they sell infrared heating panels. They actually sent a chap round who took a £1000 cheque off them as a deposit. Now every time they ring this number, they just get told someone will call back in 5 minutes, but that never happens. Just watch out, it’s not genuine.
