It’s beginning to look like it’s a sneaky marketing ploy from Orange. Orange really ought to honour the phone preference guidelines, don't you think?

We've answered the phone on numerous occasions, yet there’s never anyone on the line. It's quite unacceptable, to say the least. We've now taken the matter to the Orange shop and brought it to the attention of the manager, hoping to resolve this issue swiftly since Orange doesn’t seem to provide a contact number for complaints, nor is there a free number available. The cost was five pence per minute, which really adds up!

I've been getting calls from the number 01415704116, and it turns out it's linked to Orange. Greetings! I've sorted this situation out now. It's been confirmed as legitimate, and I managed to resolve it through the Orange shop in our local area. The manager tracked down the number to a marketing company affiliated with Orange. I even had a conversation with the managing director directly via their direct line, and they expressed genuine regret about the inconvenience we've faced. They've kindly offered to send us £100 as a gesture of goodwill, which is set to be posted this afternoon. Cheers!

Honestly, the thought of ever going back to Orange makes me cringe-I'd sooner take a dive off a cliff than give them my business again! I've been inundated with calls from this number - absolutely absurd! The folks on the other end claim they're representing Orange, but I've never even signed up with them. At this point, I've taken to answering the phone with a cheeky 'could you hold on a moment?' and then just leaving them in limbo for about ten seconds before cutting the line. Since our number is logged with the Telephone Preference Service, another avenue is to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s office in Wilmslow.
