Today, I received a call from this number, only to have the line go silent as soon as I picked up. Earlier, I had a similar experience with another number (01414 494539) that featured a robotic voice urging me to press 1 if I hadn’t wired £600 abroad on my credit card today. Naturally, I ended that call promptly. I've since contacted my credit card provider, and they confirmed it’s nothing to do with them. Clearly, these are dodgy scammers - stay alert, everyone!
