Seems like a total scam to me. Some bloke rang up claiming he was from Carphone Warehouse, saying I could get a brand new iPhone 11 max for just £20 a month with all sorts of perks - sounded way too good to be true. When I asked for his phone number to ring back, he got all edgy and said the line would probably be busy and the only way was to pay him right then. After a bit of nagging, he eventually gave me a number, but it sounded sketchy and I didn’t bother jotting it down. Then he said switching my contract would take 15 minutes, but suddenly it was only 15 seconds. Proper dodgy behaviour.
