I received a call from this number where the chap claimed he was aware I had shown an interest in investing. I courteously informed him that I wasn't, but he insisted on probing further as to why that was the case. I made it clear that it was none of his affair, but he rather cheekily insisted he ought to be in the loop. The conversation took a rather passive-aggressive turn, and I decided enough was enough and hung up. It feels like this number is being used for some dodgy scam calls, rather than being the actual owner reaching out.

Got a call from 0141 551 8979 and they told me it was Wee Farm Shop. Not sure if that’s right though.

Just got a call from some dodgy Indian call centre claiming to be Carphone Warehouse. They’re using spoofed numbers to trick people - watch out, it’s definitely a scam!
