Some bloke with an Asian accent called me saying my wifi was full of issues. Then he wanted me to log into my phone while he sent a verification code so I could supposedly fix the wifi from there. Thing is, my son-in-law works for a big high street retailer and uses the internet loads, and there’s never been any trouble. When I told him there’s no chance he’s touching my phone, he got right nasty and called me a stuck-up c*** and said he’d block my wifi. Of course, he didn’t. Total con artist.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying there was problems with my wifi. He told me I'd need to get a code on my phone so he could sort it out remotely. Now, my son in law works for a big retail chain and uses the internet constantly, and I've had no issues. When I refused to give him access to my phone, he started calling me names and threatened to cut off my wifi. Of course, none of that happened. Complete con artist, watch out!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from Virgin, saying my password was at risk. I told him I actually had an engineer with me right then and asked if I should put him on the phone. Suddenly, the line just dropped!

Got a call from this number a moment ago, they claimed I'd bought a £49.99 gift card from Amazon. As soon as I told them I hadn’t, they just cut the call straight away.

Just got a call from some woman with a heavy accent, sounded like she was in one of those call centres. She claimed there was a payment being taken from my Amazon account. I told her straight away that was a load of rubbish as I don’t even have an Amazon account and told her off in no uncertain terms. These constant calls are driving me mad. Blocking one number doesn’t help cause they just ring from another one. So annoying!

I just had a right peculiar call from this number, claiming that my washing machine warranty had expired and that they were planning to disconnect it! Had a good laugh and promptly told them where to stick it!

I got a call from Virgin Media saying there were suspicious downloads on my computer and malware detected by their servers. Totally felt like a scam to me, probably just someone trying to trick me. Definitely not legit!

This number keeps ringing my landline non-stop. Most times it’s just a missed call, and they don’t leave any voicemail. When I do pick up, there’s this awkward silence for a few seconds and then they hang up. Honestly, it’s pretty annoying and feels like harassment.
