Got a call from this number on my mobile, felt sketchy coz I blocked a near identical one just last week, and yup, same SCAM as others mention here! SCAM ALERT!! They pretend there's an accident with fake accents and false sympathy, but when I tried asking normal business questions, they just hung up on me! I had a call on my mobile this morning and, feeling rather exasperated with all these persistent nuisance calls, I decided to pick up. An Asian man introduced himself as being from the National Claims Line, but I had to ask him to repeat himself as his speech was so rapid and thickly accented. Normally, I receive a barrage of silent calls, so it was a bit of a shock to actually hear someone on the line. He began to mention something about a “recent accident,” at which point I expressed my annoyance over the endless stream of scam calls coming my way. Despite my protests, he kept insisting, “Oh no madam, this isn't a scam...” so I decided enough was enough and ended the call. I’ll be sure to block that number now.

He was quite loud, insisting that I ought to pursue compensation, completely unfazed by my frustration. When I pointed out that businesses like his contribute to rising insurance costs, he simply brushed it off with a dismissive, ‘so what’. He claimed that I wouldn’t suffer any personal consequence from accepting the payout. It was utterly astonishing how relentless he was, ringing me five times in succession and continuously interrupting me! I've ultimately had enough and have blocked his number; I’m also planning to report this to the Information Commissioner’s Office or any relevant authority I can find.
