This number rang me up yesterday saying they were from an energy firm and could help me save loads on bills. Got a bit rude when I refused to share my bank info. They sent a supervisor to explain why they needed it but kept going on and on. I ended the call and blocked the number. They’ve redialled loads since. Also, how many Asians really have names like Shaun Smith or Daniel Jones? They could’ve picked a name that made a bit more sense.

Really bad experience, thick Indian accent with loads of noise from a call centre in the background. They claimed TD had asked them to ring me. The name sounded like Together Energy or maybe Forever Energy, can’t really be certain. They said they offered electricity and gas services and spoke as if I already knew them. I kept asking ‘who is this?’ over and over and after about a minute they just gave up. I’ve now blocked the number on my phone, and would recommend you do the same. The number showed up as from Glasgow, UK.

Got a Glasgow number pop up but no way it’s a Scottish accent on the other end, as always with these lot. Best not pick up and just block the missed call. If you do answer, probably best to report to action fraud, but mostly it’s ofcom you want for all the left hanging calls. We need to stop these dodgy callers for good!
