Got a call from some Auto Assist about a crash. When I asked for the car’s reg number, she got all shifty and said it was with the “verifiers” or something. Told her straight up to quit the scams and find proper work. They claimed to be from Glasgow but the accents sounded way more like an Indian call centre. Just blocked the number.

I just got a call from some call centre saying I was in an accident, which is totally not true at all. Never had anything happen, and it was pretty unsettling to get that kind of message out the blue. Feels like a scam or something fishy going on.
