Received a rather persistent call from someone insisting they needed details about an accident. No matter how many times I told him to jog on, he just kept banging on for over five minutes! Tried to explain that this was clearly a spam call, but it seemed like talking to a brick wall. Honestly, I’m fed up with these nuisance calls! The Telephone Preference Service is a waste of time too; signing up with them hasn’t made a jot of difference.

If all the many people across the UK who get these dodgy calls daily actually do something about it, the cops and government might really get serious about cracking down on these fraudsters. Don’t just expect others to sort it out. It honestly doesn’t take much time. I keep the ‘action fraud’ site bookmarked and even dropped an email to my MP, got a pretty unexpected reply too. But it won’t work if I’m the only one putting in the effort.

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent on 01415011013. Told him straight up if he rings again, he won’t be heard from anymore. I’m able to track these calls, you know. What a pain!
