They said they were calling from O2 trying to sell me a deal. Problem is, I’m not even with O2. I told them I wasn’t interested but they kept pushing. In the end, I shouted “scammer” at them and they finally gave up and hung up. Honestly, it felt so good to call them out!

They rang saying they were with CIBSE loft insulation (which is a made-up name) and told me I had a health and safety issue with mould and needed an inspection of my loft (but honestly, you cant judge mould issues just by a call, and insulation doesn’t require regular changing!). I asked them a few things and they got really annoyed that I actually knew a bit about insulation. This feels like a total scam, trying to trick people who aren’t informed - don’t hand over any info to them.

Seemed like a total scam to me, they said my loft insulation was rubbish cos it was more than 2 years old, and for a charge they’d swap it out. I told them I’d do it myself but they rang again wanting to set up a visit. They were keen to spray insulation everywhere in my loft. I’d much rather have bits I can change when needed.
