I initially received around four calls from 020 8066 5131. When I picked up on the first occasion, there was a woman on the line with a heavy accent that made it difficult for me to understand her as she spoke rather rapidly. After asking her to slow down, I discovered she was attempting to sell me an O2 SIM card for just £5, offering unlimited calls, texts, and data. I mentioned I was at work and promptly hung up. Throughout that day, I was bombarded with numerous calls from the same number, so I decided to block it. However, I soon found myself receiving calls from various similar numbers: 020 3204 2775 020 3204 2427 020 8079 1404 020 8079 1405 020 8079 1410 To my dismay, the same woman rang me again today, but she was now using a different number: 0141 501 0278. I have since blocked all these numbers; it’s clearly harassment or a scam.

Some bloke said he was from O2 and offered me a "today only" deal to slash 50% off my phone bill. When I told him my O2 contract was finished and I wasn’t keen on returning, he quickly admitted he worked for Carphone Warehouse and claimed it was better I left O2 because he could get me a bigger discount. Honestly, I feel sorry for anyone who falls for these dodgy scams. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away.

Got a call about a crash I had no clue about. I acted all shocked and mentioned the other party said they wouldn’t report it. Tried asking for details but they clearly didn’t have any. Said I’d sort it with my Insurer and ended the call. Sure enough, they called again the next day and left it ringing, then forgot to hang up, so I overheard them chatting away. Looking back, I shouldn’t have played along, just gave them more fuel. Best thing is to just hang up or let it go to voicemail.

I’ve been receiving calls from what they purport to be the 'National Claims Helpline,' regarding an accident I’ve never experienced. Despite firmly requesting they cease contacting me, they’ve continued to ring back incessantly. Their manner is rather overbearing, almost bordering on aggressive. They mentioned their location as 2A West Regent Street in Glasgow. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

My missus told the bloke she wasn’t up for it and just hung up. Then he called again sounding pretty pushy, I told him straight we weren’t interested and ended the call. But he kept ringing, about three more times. You’ve gotta wonder why the authorities don’t step in to sort this out.
