It’s a shame that we can’t report scam numbers and scam tries directly through the police’s ‘action fraud’ phishing form anymore. However, you can still visit the action fraud phishing page for more details. If you’ve lost money to a scam, call 0300 123 2040 to report it. Maybe drop a complaint to your MP and ask why the police stopped gathering data on scam attempts. You can send suspicious numbers to 7726 and your phone network will flag it as risky. Also, snaps of scam texts or emails can be sent to ‘[email protected]’ or you can just forward those texts to 7726 as well.
