Aw, PC World is at it again, pushing their extended warranty like there’s no tomorrow! Can you believe they still try selling you one even if you've already got a warranty in place? Just like others have noted, I recently had a call from a chap using this number who claimed to be from Currys PC World regarding a delivery I had just arranged the day before. He mentioned he would inform me about the delivery process and provide a specific time slot. However, he then proceeded to ask me to verify some personal details to prove my identity as the buyer. When I probed him on the necessity of such information, he stumbled over his words, stating it was merely a follow-up from Currys, and insisted that I wasn't obliged to divulge anything if I was uncomfortable. Yet, he pressed on for the details. After I pushed back firmly, he abruptly hung up on me. I reached out to Currys through Facebook Messenger, and they assured me that this number is not associated with them. As previously highlighted, the caller was a man with a distinct English accent, originating from a Glasgow line, which, although not inherently alarming, certainly raised red flags given the overall tone of the conversation!
