I've been getting calls from this number, and the people on the line sound Indian. They say they're from Scottish Power and keep asking for my bank info and personal details. I told them I’m not a Scottish Power customer, but they just keep pushing, saying I owe them money. I stopped using Scottish Power over a year ago, so there’s no way I have any bills unpaid. The way they talk is really off-putting and rude. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a text from this number. I called back and a voice said “welcome to Scottish Power” then some music started to play, but nothing more happened. I ended the call and looked it up on google. I’ve blocked the number now.

I asked why they needed my solicitor's info, and the guy said he couldn’t give me any more info unless I passed some security checks. I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing more details unless he explained what this was about. He said he couldn’t continue without the security clearance, so I just said alright and ended the call.
