They rang me and I picked up thinking it was about a job, but they just cut off right away. No clue who it was.

I worked for one of those so-called "energy saving" firms before. It’s really just a sneaky way to push double glazing. They’ll quote you ridiculous prices then try to sell it as a “government offer,” but in reality, you’re still being charged way more than is fair. They keep inventing fancy schemes every year, but trust me, there’s no genuine government discount involved.

It is high time that action is taken against these imbeciles. They are essentially authorized wrongdoers since our ineffectual and self-serving government refuses to make their actions unlawful. What they are doing can be considered as harassment, and they should feel ashamed of their behaviour.

After reading the other replies, I’m pretty sure this eco window company is a total scam. Signed up a few weeks back thinking it was some government thing, but once I figured out it was dodgy, I declined. They still ended up with my info tho. Have blocked their number now, fingers crossed they stop calling.

For ages I kept getting these pre-recorded calls about some Green Deal scheme for new windows. After a while, I pressed 5 to get a callback. Turns out they were after leads for Zenith windows (could be other companies too). So I arranged for Zenith to come by and give a quote, but really just wanted to waste their time like they did mine, and let them know what a low way it was to gather leads through those dodgy scammers. Honestly felt better after that - and they haven't called me again since.

Over a period of several months, I continuously received numerous pre-recorded calls. These calls were promoting the services of Zenith windows. If you have strong feelings about a company that engages in nuisance calls, it may be worth sharing your thoughts with Zenith. One approach could involve scheduling an appointment for them to provide you with a quote, intentionally wasting their time in a similar manner to how they wasted yours. Personally, I took this course of action and the calls ceased.

Got a call from someone pushing a government program for windows and doors. They’re just trying to get pushy sales reps into your home. Don’t believe their claim about the price being locked in for 18 months - it’s rubbish and could end up with you buying stuff you don’t need or can’t afford.

I'm registered with the telephone preference service but this company has rung me about a dozen times over the past nine months. They say they're from the Green Deal and part of a Government recycling scheme that actually finished quite a while ago. They’re linked to Zenith Windows - check their reviews online, their sales methods seem pretty questionable. Honestly, they ought to be closed down. I’ve chatted with them to find out more and have also reported them to the relevant authorities. I’d suggest others do the same.

Stay away from Penicuik windows at all costs. If you sign the contract, you'll automatically lose out on a £199 administration fee, despite the fact that they haven't incurred any administrative expenses. I was in this situation and ended up cancelling the following day. As a result, I'm now being harassed by silent calls from their number.

Reported these lot, they keep ringin non stop trying to flog double glazing, boilers, conservatin stuff and insulation. I've been poorly last few days, just wanted some peace and quiet so I had some fun and sent their sales guy on a right wild goose chase. Told em we were after a boiler, insulation and new windows for my made-up 8 bedroom country house.

I am aware of the identity and purpose of the caller. Whenever they have called, I have repeatedly emphasized the importance of receiving their quote in writing. I expressed this once again during our recent conversation, and surprisingly, just moments after hanging up, they called again. Their continuous calls are beginning to greatly annoy me.

The gentleman on the other end had an Irish accent, which made it a bit challenging for me to comprehend his offer regarding the guarantee for future work.
