0141 447 0650 yep, that’s definitely D&G. I checked with them today after getting a call from that number. The caller was trying to peddle insurance for something I’m already covered for, but he insisted I wasn’t. Sounds like he was hoping to pocket a bit of commission for a sale that wasn’t needed. Really dodgy behaviour. I’ve been told their higher-ups are checking into it now.

No one picked up when I got calls from numbers claiming to be from Domestic & General after I sorted insurance with them not long ago. Can D&G confirm if these calls are genuine? If they can't, why aren't those making these calls tracked down and dealt with legally?

I have no clue who that was! The bloke’s voice was totally confusing and all mumble-y. The only thing I caught was my name, and that was only cause he kept saying it over and over.

I saw the number come up but didn’t know it, so I just let it ring out. Turns out it was Domestic and General, who I’m actually with already. They usually only get in touch if you’ve got an active policy or used to. Definitely not sketchy, just best to avoid picking up if you don’t want to deal with them :)

I’ve had Domestic & General blocked on my phone for well over a month now, but they keep calling me nearly every single day. It’s honestly so annoying. I don’t want anything to do with them and yet my phone keeps buzzing with missed call alerts from that number. Seriously, they need to stop.

It was Domestic and General who called me. They asked me for my postcode, which I thought was fine since it's a long street, so I gave it to them. Then, oddly, they went on to tell me exactly what stuff I already had insured. They even mentioned things about a kitchen I’m having done, which I only talked about with them at the beginning of the year, so they must still have all that info on file. I reckon it really is Domestic and General, but honestly, it's a bit frustrating how they keep trying to upsell things.

Looks like this is Domestic and General ringing again. With over 62k folks having looked up this number, you'd think D&G would cut down on these annoying calls and focus more on fixing the appliances we pay them plenty for. I made the error of getting a policy with them before, and now they won’t stop bugging me to sign up again. I'm well and truly fed up with the constant ringing. Even after blocking them, they keep trying to get through.

I've had it with D&G ringing me all the time, so I've blocked their number. They swapped out my fairly new washer/dryer through their insurance plan for a brand new one, but still expected me to keep paying the monthly premium. I said no because the new machine comes with its own one-year warranty anyway. After I cancelled the direct debit for the policy, they got quite annoyed and have been phoning non-stop ever since, which is why I just blocked them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with D&G asking me to give my account info for "security checks". Definitely a scam, so I didn’t share anything. I called D&G myself later and they told me they never make calls like that out of the blue. Watch out for this!
