OPOS - I don’t even pick up anymore and just block their numbers, which change all the time anyway. I don’t owe anything and after talking to my solicitor, I’ve been told what they’re doing is against the law and counts as harassment. I’m planning to take it further - maybe if more of us stand up to them, they might stop. Also heard that if you do answer and it’s some scam or annoying call, just blow a whistle right into the phone. My mate at work tried it and said it worked wonders!

It’s opos ltd, a debt collector, and they’re really rude liars. They refuse to say why they’re ringing until you give them personal details like your name and address. I just keep blocking their number, I ain’t dealing with opos ever again. Other numbers they use: 07860034945, 01414283939, 01414283990. Hopefully this helps others block them too.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this number has contacted me previously. They actually left a voicemail addressing me by name, which was a tad unsettling. Along with that, there was a reference number included, urging me to ring back within a day to prevent further contact. Given that I don’t recognise this number or feel comfortable with it, I’ve decided to block them outright.

Received a call from someone with a heavy Scottish brogue. They left a voicemail that was quite hard to decipher, as their speech was all a bit muddled. They mentioned a reference number that they seemed to struggle to recall, and called me by an almost correct name. Oddly enough, the voicemail claimed they were contacting me from France using a different number entirely, when the one that flashed up on my screen was distinctly a Glasgow number! Quite the peculiar situation, I must say!
