I've been bombarded with incessant calls lately, and I've finally reached my limit. Today, I confronted one of the callers, claiming to be in IT and Data Security (even dropped my company’s name for good measure) and demanded to know how they acquired my personal information. Suddenly, I was placed on hold, only to be connected to a rather hesitant manager. I took a firm stance and informed her that I would be lodging a complaint regarding this nuisance, insisting that I receive all their company details via email within a day as I intend to escalate the matter. I was met with a flurry of apologies, and she promised that my name would be promptly removed from their records. Now, I’m just waiting to see if that email lands in my inbox!
