This is the very first time I've got a text from them, and before this it was just loads of scam letters popping through, all about payments and creepy debt collectors. Total rip-off, I’d just give it a miss.

The thing is, I’ve never had a BT account. The person on the phone was a woman, but she refused to tell me her name or any info. For the past three weeks, I've been bombarded with text messages from these chaps claiming to represent BT. I reached out to BT once more, just like many others, and confirmed what I already knew-I don’t owe a penny. This is clearly a scam. Do yourself a favour: block these numbers and pay them no mind at all.

Heads up, this debt collection agency is definitely dodgy. They claim to work with loads of big companies like Virgin Media, but I’ve never had anything to do with Virgin Media. So, I rang Virgin Media myself and they checked everything on their end, couldn’t find any record of me at all. Stay clear!

I didn’t receive a call from BT, yet I did get a message from someone named Jang Park. It’s certainly a Korean name, but the chap claims to be from Glasgow. Sounds suspiciously like a scam to me!
