Once he figured out there was no injury claim or anything, he just cut me off mid-chat. I only answered 'cause the repair company we're using also have an 0141 number. Since I’ve been in touch with the AA recently because of a car accident, the call seemed genuine at first. They asked me the same security questions as I’d already answered to the AA. I told the AA about it, but they didn’t seem too bothered even though these scammers copied their exact intro and security checks. I’m going to report it to 101 today. Eventually, I got passed on to another person, then a lawyer, who was appalled by the company behind this number and confirmed nothing they said was accurate.
