I got a call from some bloke saying he was ringing about an accident I supposedly had. I told him that I wasn’t involved in any crash and nicely asked to be taken off whatever list they had me on. Then I mentioned my number was on the TPS register - well, actually, I said TSP by mistake. He jumped on that with the rudest and most condescending tone ever. I couldn’t help myself, said something a bit cheeky back, and then just ended the call.

They kept ringing me but when I finally picked up, nobody said a word before hanging up. Just like others have mentioned, there was some noise in the background too.

So, I got into a bit of a fender bender recently, and then this number kept ringing me. I didn’t pick up at first, but got intrigued and rang back. The bloke on the other end started going through the crash, asking about the other driver’s info and what happened from my point of view. Seemed like some sort of accident claims outfit, not the usual insurance folks - definitely wasn’t Direct Line or anything like that.
