Got a call today asking about who supplies my landline and mobile. Looks like they’ve switched from pushing accident claims to pretending they’re phone experts! The lady said I’d been part of a survey - definitely not! She was polite and said sorry though. This is the 5th call centre that’s bothered me today!!!! Seriously, just stop! Honestly, these fools are unbelievable. This number has been ringing my 11-year-old son's phone every single day this week and some days last week too. When I told them it was my son's phone, they started blaming him for doing online surveys. I've checked everything on my son's phone and laptop, and all he does is play normal kid games. Now when I pick up, they just hang up on me, so I let my son answer instead. On the call at 10:18am the next day, they actually spoke to him. They've now been warned the police will be called if they ring again. Let's wait and see if they keep going...

I received a call from this number earlier today, but they didn't bother to leave a message. I've reached out to my phone provider about these pesky nuisance calls, and they've provided me with a specific number to dial in order to block the last caller. While I do still receive some unwanted calls, this has effectively prevented that same individual from getting through again. Just thought I’d share this in case it might be of use to anyone else!

I’ve just had a rather peculiar phone call from this number. The chap on the other end was inquiring about a car accident I supposedly experienced, asking if I was pleased with how matters had been resolved. Naturally, I replied in the negative. The bloke then probed further, asking the reason for my dissatisfaction. I pointed out that I’ve never been involved in a car crash! His response? He cut off the line! What a cheeky git!

I decided to ring back and, lo and behold, it’s a voicemail belonging to Landers Underwriters, whatever they are. It’s baffling, really - why would a firm based in Virginia be trying to reach me from a number that appears to be Glasgow-based? Even more curious, I found that the same number is tied to various names and companies. Definitely seems dodgy to me - I’m convinced it's a con artist at work.

Ringing up my father, he firmly expressed his wishes for them to cease calling him, given it's not the first incident of this sort. In response, they bluntly stated they would carry on making calls indefinitely, claiming they had an incident report from the authorities. This naturally caused him a great deal of distress, particularly because they had the audacity to mention his address. Honestly, if someone has requested not to be contacted, it's only reasonable for businesses to honour that request.
