Someone phoning me, saying they were from BT and started asking about my router and internet speed. They wouldn’t accept I had a 350Mbps Virgin connection and kept insisting that wasn’t possible. I told them BT’s G.Fast tech offers speeds up to 330Mbps, but they just brushed it off. Eventually, I called them out on not being from BT and they still tried to play it cool. Nice try, "Andrew Scott"!

They keep ringing up loads of times a day, which is proper annoying. Even though we can see who's calling, having to always check the number to avoid another dodgy spiel about virus alerts or computer faults is a right pain. Honestly, it feels like they’re scammers and won’t give up easily.

In the space of ten minutes, I got two incoming calls from numbers I didn’t recognise. I let them ring out to voicemail, but there were no messages. From what I’ve read on here, sounds like it’s just the regular scammers giving us a ring again.

I received a rather unexpected phone call from a woman of Asian descent, claiming to be from Virgin Media, informing me that my Internet connection was allegedly being used by another individual. Curiously, when I pointed out that her call was coming from a number based in Glasgow, she outright refused to acknowledge this. It’s worth noting that Virgin Media operates a call centre in India, which might explain the mix-up. However, upon reaching out to their customer service, I was reassured that it was indeed a fraudulent call. Quite the conundrum!

I've been receiving persistent calls on my landline from this number, and it's just an automated farewell message every time. To make matters worse, my number is supposed to be ex-directory! It's becoming quite frustrating, to say the least.

Got a call from someone named Nicole claiming to be from my internet company, saying they were receiving some weird corrupted signals from my connection. Told her I don’t even have internet, and she just hung up on me. So done with these annoying spam calls, I must get like 10 of them every day!

Somebody rang me saying they were from Virgin Media, saying someone was using my internet without permission. When I said the laptop is actually from my workplace, they switched gears and asked if I could let them access my Android phone remotely. Didn't trust it one bit and have blocked their number now.

I've been dealing with B T scammers nonstop. I've told B T about it but my phone keeps cutting out for a bit and then the calls flood back, like 10-20 a day recently. Honestly, I'm so done with B T, might just ditch the landline altogether. Since I don’t have internet, it's even worse - constantly rude or annoying calls, plus people being harsh or just messing about, making it impossible to use the phone. Proper fed up with it all.

They claimed to be from BT Ingenuis and said my internet was spitting out error codes. Told me to just follow some instructions on my laptop keyboard to sort it. Sure, and pigs fly. I had a few salty words for them, so hopefully their ears are still ringing now, those scam artists.

Had some bloke named "Lisa" on the phone, said they were ringing from BT or Openreach or something. Sounded like one of those dodgy call centres from Asia in the background. Like I’d fall for that nonsense! Sorted now, blocked the scammer sharpish.

This has got to be one of the worst scam calls I’ve gotten in ages. The caller claimed to be from BT and said my computer was showing error messages. When I said no to their demands, he actually asked if I could understand English! After I told him I knew he wasn’t from BT and was just a scammer, he ended up calling me a stupid c###. I’m so fed up with these disgusting people.

This has got to be the worst dodgy call I’ve had in ages. The bloke claimed he was from BT, saying there were errors popping up on my computer. When I told him I wasn’t playing along, he went on about whether I actually spoke English! Then, after I called him out as just a scammer trying to rip me off, he threw some nasty insults at me. Honestly, I’m fed up with these horrible scammers.

Some woman rang me, claiming to be from BT internet support. But I’ve got Sky for both my phone and internet. She told me my IP address had been hijacked by someone else from midnight till 4 in the morning. Said she could fix it if I let her help. Told me to open my laptop and press Windows R. When I pointed out it was two in the afternoon and the issue was overnight, she just hung up abruptly. Shame, I could’ve kept her on the line for ages!
