Got a scam call from a robot voice claiming to be HMRC, saying I was about to be arrested for tax evasion. Ha, what a joke!

There was this really pushy guy on the phone who refused to say his name or the name of the company. After a while, he admitted he was calling from Carphone Warehouse and wanted to switch me to a sim only deal. I said I was busy and would ring back, but he started getting all rude, saying it would only take a minute. Why on earth aren’t these numbers blocked or shut down?

These dodgy callers have been bothering us daily for ages now. The once we picked up, it was some automated voice asking for a name we didn’t recognise to call them back. We’ve blocked the number, but they seem to keep trying every single day.

Picked up the phone and asked the caller 3 times which company they represented but they kept quiet. So I said I wasn’t interested, then the bloke started getting really rude, asking why I wasn't interested. When I calmly asked him to please not call me again, he began acting all aggressive and even asked if I hated Scottish folks. I wasn’t having any of it, swore at him, then ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

This bloke rang me and already knew my name, then asked if I was in Northern Ireland - when I said yes, he just ended the call straight away.

Hung up pretty quick before finding out much about who it was. I keep getting calls from Glasgow numbers, different ones each time, but I reckon it's probably the same lot behind them - strange, as I’ve got no ties to that place at all.

This number has been ringing me a few times. The bloke on the line definitely knows my name, but I’ve got no clue who he is. He’s used loads of different numbers to call, which I’m writing down here. Mostly he calls in the afternoon, but sometimes even on a Saturday. I know his voice and just end the call straight away, but it still feels a bit off and weird. I reckon he’s using some trick to change the numbers showing up.

It happens multiple times daily. I just end the call straight away.

I entered an online contest and like a minute later this number called me. The contest wanted to know who my energy provider was. Seeing what other people have said, I reckon they jumped on it straight away. I just didn’t answer, figured if it was something serious they’d leave a voicemail. So, I ended up blocking the number!

Someone keeps callin me but I have no clue who it is, so I blocked the first number. Then they called me again today, so I blocked that one too and deleted it. Still, they somehow keep getting hold of my number from somewhere.
