Most of these calls come from info people share when they join "free offers" or answer "surveys" on sites like Facebook and Twitter. Plus, stolen data getting sold to these scammers. They also hide their phone numbers. The call centres could be located anywhere in the world. Like the #### #### mentioned, they’ll keep ringing just to annoy, but the people in charge want actual sales, not pointless calls. It’s all about cash at the end of the day. Keep blocking and reporting them. Let’s keep them broke.

These annoying calls happen cos of all the data mining when we sign up for "special deals" and "surveys" on sites like Facebook and Twitter. Plus, stolen info from data breaches gets sold to these pests. They often hide their number so you can't tell where they're calling from. The call centre could be anywhere in the world.
