They've called my home phone loads of times but never said a word when I answered! Only a handful of close family have my number, mostly for emergencies, so no idea where they found it. Proper frustrating!

Got two calls on my home phone just an hour apart. A woman with an Indian accent said her name was Mary, claiming to be from Accident Advice Helpline. I'm registered with TPS, told them both times to take me off their list, but they just cut me off. Reported it straight to TPS!

A mate’s kid called a number back after it showed up, and it ended up charging her £42! Seriously, just don’t bother ringing back at all. Best to just block and forget about it. Xxx

Someone’s ringing my mobile and I havent given my number to anyone. Don’t pick up from this number, it’s been reported loads, just block it, absolute scammers and pain in the neck. It says it’s a Scottish number but the person sounded like an Indian Chinese Liverpudlian and was really rude. I told her where to shove it. If you can, block and report this number, please. It’s the only way to get them fined and stop this nonsense.

Just got a call from the correct number, asked who it was and they said CAH. When I asked what the call was about, they just hung up straight away. Seems like they don’t like being questioned or losing control. I wonder what info they’re hoping to get and how they plan to use it. There really needs to be stricter rules from the government on this. We pay for our phone lines, whether it’s mobile or landline, so why on earth should they be allowed to call like this?

Got a call about an accident I knew nothing about. Asked them for details, but they wouldn't give any. Then they rang my mobile straight after, followed by my home phone. Didn’t pick up, already recognised the number. Why is this even allowed by the government? We spend loads on anti-fraud measures but they just keep letting this slide. Marking it as harassment, but it feels like it could turn risky. Imagine what info someone might hand over if they fall for it.

I got a call from this really rude Liverpudlian woman about some car crash. I nicely told her i wasnt interested in what she was offering. Then she rang me again, called me a liar, and just ended the call.

Got a call from 0141 289 0735 saying they were from aftercare about my car accident in July. They claimed I was due some cash from a cat c claim but told me I’d have to make 3 separate calls to sort it out. Luckily I looked up the number online first and found loads of similar stories. I've blocked them now.
