They left a voicemail, but honestly, I couldn’t make out what they were after. Tried calling back with another number, but I’ve ended up blocking both of them now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from UK & Energy Council, saying we’d been overcharged during lockdown and were owed some money back. I asked if I could just put them on hold while I checked them out online, but as soon as I did, they got all nervous and refused to give me a callback number. The guy spoke with a foreign accent and started getting rude, saying he wouldn’t bother talking if I didn’t trust him. Pretty obvious scam to me! Had to laugh at how quickly they packed it in.
