I received a call this evening, 28th August 2013, and was greeted with a pre-recorded message. It mentioned something about a private communication aimed at someone whose name I couldn't quite catch - it had a rather exotic ring to it. The recording instructed them to press 1 to unearth the message. Clearly, it wasn't meant for anyone in my household, so I decided to hang up. Curiously, I dialled 1471 afterwards and discovered the number was 01412786102.

These incessant calls at all hours are beyond infuriating. I’m currently sorting out a debt management strategy, and they’ve already been informed about it. Honestly, I’m so fed up that I’ve decided to change my phone number entirely. I attempt to handle these conversations with a sense of civility, yet their condescending attitude makes it feel like I’m chatting with a total imbecile. It’s gotten to the point where I dread picking up the phone altogether. Just for the record, if my financial situation alters drastically in the next few hours, it’ll only be because I’ve hit the jackpot in the lottery! And even then, I wouldn’t dream of giving these parasites a single penny. They thrive on the misfortune of others, and it’s utterly disgraceful.
