For months now I've been getting calls from different numbers, sometimes they say they're from Talk Talk, other times BT. I just ignore and hang up every time, haven’t had my phone line cut off or anything yet!

A recorded message came through and I ended up blocking the number straight away.

Got a recorded call from a woman with an American accent claiming to be from Talk Talk. She warned my internet would be cut off and told me to press 5 to keep it or 2 to cancel. I’m actually with Talk Talk, and they don’t send recorded messages like that at all. Didn’t bother calling back. Sounds like a scam, probably leading to expensive premium lines or someone fishing for your bank details. Definitely watch out for these sorts of dodgy calls.
