I recently had an encounter with a dubious character purporting to represent a debt collection agency. To add to the confusion, the same number has also been linked to a supposed child support organisation attempting to swindle me. They rang me up insisting I had some outstanding child support obligations. Trust me, if you get a call from them, it's wise to ignore it completely! Don’t provide any personal information, or you risk having your bank account thoroughly emptied.

It purports to be a debt management firm. I've attempted to block their numbers repeatedly, but they merely adjust the final two digits each time. The most recent one I dealt with ended in 5661.

Today I found myself inundated with persistent harassment from this number, which purported to be a debt recovery agency. The chap on the line threatened to keep pestering me, no matter how many times I tried blocking his number. It's infuriating that they can still manage to reach out regardless of the blocks in place!

Received a call from a chap with an Indian accent - couldn't quite catch his name. Typical routine claiming he was from a debt advisory service or some similar nonsense. I simply said, "You're clearly a scam artist," and ended the call. Naturally, I reported it as spam and put the number on my block list. This sort of thing seems to happen incessantly, often first thing in the morning or around late afternoon. Quite tiresome, really!
