I've taken it upon myself to delve into the background of this firm on behalf of a mate. It's quite peculiar, as their website details are shrouded by whoisguard, and it only came into existence in March 2016. They shifted to a Motherwell office - which is essentially a Regus serviced, pay-per-month workspace - in April 2016. Strangely, a chap I spoke to from UK Property Repair claimed he had been with them for three years, asserting they had always occupied that address! They’re touting that they’ve been operational for just over five years, mentioning they needed to morph into a limited company to engage with businesses in England. However, I’m rather sceptical about that claim. Frankly, a company in business for five years ought to have garnered at least a single review from a customer or contractor, wouldn’t you think? Moreover, any firm that invests in Google ads and boasts a five-year history should have their address and contact information readily available, which would pop up on the right side of Google searches, yet it doesn’t. Their London office appears to be merely a registered address handed over when they set up the new company. The contract outlines that they will charge £2,000 for the initial 12 months, during which they commit to securing a minimum of five estate agents and at least 425 properties in compliance that will require your services. Essentially, you’re footing the bill for them to source work for you, which isn’t illegal per se but was certainly misrepresented to my friend. Given these inconsistencies along with the dubious claims regarding their past, I’ve recommended my mate tread cautiously for the time being and hold on to his cash.
