This isn't our name, but it seems rather crucial that we received a call from them, especially since there’s a reference number involved.

Greetings everyone! We found ourselves in a similar predicament. We were carrying some debt on our Lloyds account, a mix of credit and debit if you will. We didn’t settle that for over a year, and now they’re ringing me up. I’m quite unsure of how to sort this out, but really, who knows what to do in situations like these?

If you've got a number that keeps pestering you with calls, just add it to your blocked contacts list. It really winds them up!

I gave a bell today for our brother/sister, asking if he could give Mr. Hughes a call at [number] regarding the matter of 'blah blah blah’.

I've had this company ring me multiple times throughout the last week, usually just after I've stepped out. The latest time, they left a polite voicemail asking for someone who has never resided at my address. When they called again this afternoon, I decided to answer, and I ended up having a lovely conversation with a friendly chap who assured me that he would remove my number from their list. To be fair, they were never rude or unprofessional, but I can confidently say that I don’t owe them anything!

Oh, not again! These callers are an absolute nightmare! Honestly, conversing with them feels like a chore. It's as if each one of them is battling their own failures and, in turn, taking it out on the rest of us. It's ridiculous, really-just because someone slipped up on a trivial payment! What a bunch of numpties!

Their online platform certainly depicts a different story, doesn’t it? They claim, "We liaise with both individuals and enterprises on behalf of our clients, ensuring our services uphold the integrity and goodwill of our clients as well as that of the consumers or businesses involved in the collection process." Perhaps the noise from the nearby motorway was just driving them bonkers.

I tried out the 1471 service for this number. If you’re keen to learn more, you might want to check out "Freeman on the Land" on a search engine.

This company incessantly rings us, leaving us with nothing but recorded messages. It’s rather annoying that they can’t be bothered to have a real person reach out. Frankly, we have no interest in engaging with them at all.

Cheers for the clarifications! It's no wonder we keep getting bombarded with calls, texts, and voicemails intended for someone else. We've never returned their calls, but who knows? If I'm ever feeling particularly feisty, I just might give them a ring!

Every time I've had a chance to speak with these individuals, they've just been so full of themselves and rather rude. Heaven forbid you actually raise your voice a bit!

These individuals are simply pursuing the funds that are rightfully theirs. If you've taken on a debt, then it's imperative to settle it! Ignoring the matter won't make it vanish; sooner or later, they could obtain a court ruling, track down your address, and then you might find bailiffs at your doorstep, ready to take your belongings. So, do the right thing and honour your financial responsibilities!

Indeed, we’ve got some unresolved debts with them, and we’re quite committed to our repayment plan-no question about that. However, it seems these callers are a bit overzealous, pestering us incessantly for additional funds that we simply can't muster right now, especially in the midst of a financial downturn! Just this morning, they rang us twice in quick succession, not even bothering to leave a voicemail. It must be a tough time for them, it seems! ;p

It appears that some individuals have managed to acquire our address and phone number, which is rather concerning. They frequently call asking for a person we've never even heard of. My advice? Simply disregard their calls. If they persist and continuously ring you back, don't hesitate to let them know that if they don’t cease their harassment, you might consider legal action for their persistent bullying. That’s precisely the route we took, and thankfully, we haven’t received a single call from them since. :)

Those blighters have an uncanny knack for popping up at the most inconvenient moments, don’t they? Their exasperating voices and utterly ghastly demeanour are enough to make anyone’s skin crawl. Best to just brush them off and forget they even exist.

I keep getting calls from these people; they ring over and over, and when we finally answer, they just hang up without saying a word. It's quite frustrating, really!

Forget about that previous rant from the rather unpleasant individual who keeps going on about bailiffs. Debt collectors are nothing more than loudmouths with no real power to back up their threats. Bailiffs are still quite a distance away in this scenario, and it’s important to remember that AIC needs to establish their legitimacy before they can demand a penny. They’re notorious for disregarding any written communications, but as long as you keep hold of your proof of postage, you’ve got the upper hand. Let them dig their own grave!

I received a call from a debt recovery firm named Allied International.

I've been getting calls from this number, and it's rather baffling. They let it ring just twice before abruptly ending the call. When I attempted to return the call, they accused me of avoiding their calls and proceeded to raise their voice at me! I mean, how on earth do they expect anyone to answer after just a single ring? To make matters worse, I don’t have any outstanding debts, so it’s a mystery as to why they’re trying to contact me in the first place! It’s quite infuriating, really!

This number seems to ring me relentlessly, day in and day out. Each time I answer, it’s always an automated message, and I can’t shake the feeling that it’s the same source behind it all. Quite the nuisance, really!

I’ve resorted to sending their calls straight to voicemail, yet they keep ringing and ringing-I'm sure it’s been at least ten times in just five minutes! We even left a message on our own line, but all they did was respond with a truly foul and outrageous voicemail. Honestly, unless these individuals sort their behaviour out, they can take a long walk off a short pier as far as I'm concerned!

AIC, a debt collection agency based in Glasgow, has a particularly unpleasant reputation. It’s best to disregard them and hold your ground - they really aren’t worth your time or stress. Even if you find yourself in debt, consider sending them a CCA request through the post (for further details, have a look at www.consumeractiongroup.com). These requests are like catnip to AIC, and it's advisable to send them via tracked delivery. Insist they prove your liability, as it’s likely they will retreat when challenged.
