This has all the signs of a scam, they started saying they’re debt collectors and threatened to come to my house to get money I supposedly owe. The thing is, I don’t even owe anything!

I found a card sticking out of my mailbox but it had someone else's name on it, and I've never dealt with Resolvecall before. I’m definitely not going to ring the number on it. Feels like the sort of thing that could easily be misused by thieves.

This is just plain harassment and it's against the law. From what I've found, these folks seem to be linked with Santander UK mortgages, who have already been flagged in official UK court documents for messing up enforcement rules and acting unfairly. If you get emails like this, make sure to save them and report to the police and Citizens Advice Bureau in the UK to protect yourself and help get them stopped!

Recieved a letter about tenancy linked to a mortgage on my property. They asked to verify info like my identity, phone number, landlord, letting agent and how much rent I'm paying. It was supposed to be returned within five days but we only got it on day six. Plus, the phone number given in the letter didn't match the one on ResolveCall's site (site showed 8500, letter had 0517 and 8473). Strangely, my name wasn’t even mentioned anywhere. These days it’s not just debt stuff they send out. This letter seems really dodgy to me.

Received a card in the post that seemed genuine, so I rang the number on it. They asked for my name, address and date of birth, which I gave them. Then they claimed I owed £686.87 dating back to 2005 with HSBC. That’s when I knew it was a con because I’ve never had an account with HSBC. From now on, I’ll definitely verify numbers before calling back.

A really unpleasant person showed up at my door and left a card through it. When I asked what it was about, he just refused to say and told me to ring the number instead. Then he called me a "fat ####". Definitely not to be trusted, I'm going to report this to the police.

I got this number from some papers saying I owe money on an old account being handled by UK Search about Southern Water. Now they’re threatening to send people round to my house. They never mention how much I supposedly owe, and claim I’m not paying anything. They haven’t even bothered to check properly. My account is currently suspended due to some issues. The case is with the Consumer Council, who told me not to talk to anyone else. Definitely a SCAM!

Lots of folks here are saying they're scammers, which might be partly true, but actually they are a legit debt collection agency. They’ve purchased old debts from well-known companies from years back. The best thing to do is ask them to SHOW you proof that you owe the debt!

Keeps ringing all the time. Someone pushed a card under the door with my son's name on it. My son is disabled with cerebral palsy, so I’m not sure why they’re after money. Really upsetting stuff.

Heard a noise outside and looked out to see a bloke picking himself up at the bottom of the steps, then he jumped in a car and tried to drive off with the door wide open! Next day I found a card stuck in the letterbox ’cause the postman couldn’t push a letter through, and this number was on it. (No idea who the name on the card belongs to). Not gonna call ’em, it’s too funny - gonna wait till they ring back unless they’re still stuck in hospital or summat! Haha. Maybe try knocking next time, idiot!

Got a card pushed through my letterbox saying to ring this number. It’s from “resolvecall.” The card doesn’t look very professional, with handwriting in the boxes that should be filled and my name and part of my address scribbled on the envelope. Never had a call from this number, only the card.

It's ridiculous, these guys keep showing up at my house non stop. I told one of them I'd get the police involved and he just shrugged it off. He even threatened to take my car over a debt that was already sorted and dismissed years ago. They call themselves ResolveAll or something like that.

Someone just turned up at my place called Simon. He rang a number and claimed I owed £490 from 2006 but wouldn’t say who it was owed to. Kept askin me who I was like three times even tho I already said it once and didn’t want to repeat myself. Wouldn’t tell me anything else either. Then the bloke just walked off and seemed proper clueless. Watch out everyone, stay safe!

I’m a widow and struggle with mental health issues, and I get really anxious when I’m stressed or can’t handle daily stuff. This company called resolvecallItd keeps chasing me to pay some money they say I owe. I don’t really have much to live on - I’m currently on ESA and doing my best to get better. Just last week, I almost had an accident crossing the street because I was so worried about this debt. I’m seriously thinking about giving up, all over a few hundred quid. I just can’t take this anymore!! Someone please help me.
