I told them even a model camper isn't just made up in my head, but they seemed to think it was proper real. Then they claimed there's a speedboat too! It was Scottish Power calling to offer a cheaper energy deal. They’re connected to loads of competitions for cars, gaming stuff and the like. I ended up on the phone with them for about five minutes before I lost interest and told them to keep the car since getting the bus seemed faster. Bloody things called me again two days later. Number’s blocked now.

Got a call from a firm called "WinMe4Free" claiming I’d entered a raffle for a BMW, maybe from somewhere like a mall or online. They went on about a new BMW with a tech pack being "up for grabs" and said entering was free. All they asked was for me to get a free, no obligation quote from Scottish Power to check if my energy bills could be better. I just ended the call and blocked them when they tried pushing me through for the quote.

The number is from Glasgow, which is where Scottish Power is, but from what I’ve seen on other sites, it might be a scam about winning prizes and stuff.
