Got a call from someone pretending to be TalkTalk saying there was an issue with my modem. They told me they'd send an engineer out to fix it. Looking back, I really should have just played along and then informed the police about it.

Got one of those calls saying there’s an issue with my internet - sounded like the same old nonsense. I just ended the call without even asking who they claimed to be.
