Got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming he was checking on my internet service. When I asked him which provider, he said BT. I told him BT isn’t even my internet supplier. Then he quickly said he must have dialled the wrong number. I told him to quit bothering me with these unsolicited calls and that what he’s doing isn’t on the level.

Got a call from a number starting with 01372, they claimed to be Talktalk and said I’d downloaded harmful stuff on my PC. The voice sounded Asian. Honestly, just ignore and hang up if you get this. Don’t engage with them at all.

I received a call on my home phone from this number. I picked up since I was anticipating a parcel, and thought it might be related. However, the moment I answered, the line went dead. When I tried to call back, I was greeted with a recorded message stating that the number isn't recognised. Very peculiar!
