This number rang me claiming they were from BT, which I’m not with, saying my IP address was exposed and my data was at risk. When I asked how they knew that, the guy on the phone, who sounded Asian, just dodged the question and kept pushing to check my IP. I told him I had no laptop or phone handy and only used the line for calls. They just abruptly ended the call after that.
