Got a call from this number and the bloke on the line had an Asian accent claiming to be from my internet provider. He told me my phone was about to be disconnected. It definitely felt like a dodgy scam, so watch out!

Received a dodgy call earlier. It was a pre-recorded message purporting to be from HMRC, and it was full of dire threats if I didn’t connect with a so-called “case adviser.” Total nonsense!

Got a call from a number claiming to be HMRC, with a recorded message saying I was about to get a court summons and to press 1 to talk to someone about my case. I immediately hung up and called HMRC myself, who confirmed it was a scam. They told me to report it to the fraud team at www.actionfraud.police.uk. I’d definitely recommend everyone to report these calls if they get them.
