Just had a right nuisance of a call from those eco-friendly fraudsters at half eight in the evening. I've gone ahead and added their number to my block list.

I’ve been receiving incessant calls from a persistent cold caller, often as many as three times a day! I've taken the step of blocking the number, but lo and behold, a few days later, yet another call comes through from a different London number. It's rather infuriating! I’ve blocked every number they've thrown at me. Honestly, these pests ought to be put out of action for good!

I received a call from a call centre in the Philippines, claiming to conduct a “survey” regarding energy safety. When I inquired about the organisation behind this, they mentioned they were affiliated with Energy Now. However, the conversation took a turn when I mentioned that I reside in a castle; they promptly hung up! Quite amusing, really.

I just got a call on my home phone from this number. I allowed the answering machine to pick it up, but all I heard was silence and no message followed. I'm beginning to suspect it could be a scam or some sort of nuisance call, so I'm labelling it as unknown for the moment.

Another call from Exeter came through today. They wanted to have a word with me, but I firmly told them, "No chance!" and promptly hung up before blocking the number.

I've come across a right dodgy character claiming to do loft insulation work. Beware of this con artist!

They greeted me by name, which was a bit odd. When I inquired who was on the line, they claimed to represent the national loft insulation survey and insisted it wasn't a cold call. But, as soon as I mentioned that I don’t actually have a loft, they abruptly ended the call! Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

Picked up but just got dead air before they disconnected.

Fraudsters, without a doubt! They tried to pass themselves off as a government-supported firm focused on energy efficiency. I couldn’t hold back and told them to pipe down! They had the cheek to call me “Mr Rude” before hanging up on me. How amusing!

I had a call on my mobile from someone in Exeter while I'm over here in Cardiff. It was an unfamiliar number, so I decided against picking up. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. Given what I've read about similar situations, I’ve gone ahead and blocked that number and deleted it from my call log.

Called the mobile and there was absolutely no one there when I picked up. Strange!

Received a rather peculiar call from a call centre inquiring about the property owner. They seemed to have my address and a number that's not listed. They requested to speak with a specific individual (not myself), and then proceeded to mention that they possessed some information which could potentially be useful. I graciously turned them down and bid them farewell.

A bloke from overseas tried to persuade me to earn a tidy sum by reporting COVID rule violators through an 09 number. I wasn't having any of it, so I declined. He got terribly hostile, and in the end, I had to block him.

This number keeps calling, but there's never anyone on the other end. Think it's time to cut it off and block them!

I tried returning the call after missing it due to a chat with someone else. Unfortunately, their voicemail was completely packed, so I couldn’t drop a message. I've opted to block that number now. Really relieved that I didn’t disconnect with my son just to pick up their call!

This number has been ringing me twice over the past couple of days! When I picked up, there was a bit of a pause before the caller replied, and I could hear chatter in the background, almost like it was a call centre. I decided to hang up before they got the chance to say anything!
