11 yearsThis number has been ringing us for the past couple of days, and much like previous instances, there's never anyone on the other end. Every time we attempt to return the call, they pick up but hang up shortly after. It tends to happen around 4 to 5 in the afternoon and I must say, it feels quite harassing!11 yearsWe recently tried to make a payment over the phone to them, but our bank, Lloyds, refused it, despite us having ample funds in our account. Now, these folks keep ringing us about the £11.40 that we owe, which will be settled as soon as Lloyds gets round to processing the transaction, which seems to take an age! I'm just waiting for it to finally come out of our account, but it appears I'll have to endure their calls in the meantime!Lloyds11 yearsI’d recommend double-checking if you’ve settled all your water bill payments. It seems like these folks might be on the hunt for outstanding dues-at least that’s been my experience!11 yearsReceived a rather uninspiring message that didn’t spark much interest.11 yearsThis number called around 7 in the evening, inquiring about someone who isn’t associated with this address. At first, we were met with a good four minutes of utter silence, then there was the sound of a click, akin to someone ending the call. After that, we heard some indistinct chatter in the background, and eventually a woman with a British accent started to speak. We endured the quiet because I've been bombarded with nuisance calls lately, and we felt compelled to find out who this was. Essentially, it turned out to be nothing more than a silent dial, as most people wouldn’t bother waiting around.11 yearsA call came through from this number, and the moment we answered, we were met with nothing but dead air. I decided to ring the number again, and it turns out it belongs to South West Water!South West Water11 yearsI've been experiencing the exact same situation for the past fortnight!11 yearsWe've been getting calls from this number at approximately half past six most evenings. The moment we pick up, the callers usually just hang up. Initially, we thought it was South West Water trying to collect payments. It would be more courteous for them to state their purpose right away instead of abruptly ending the call. It does make you ponder how much they earn for making these calls at all hours, doesn't it?South West Water11 yearsReceived a call from this number the other night, and again just recently-both times around the same time. We decided against answering as we didn’t recognise the number. Thought I’d do a bit of sleuthing online, and stumbled upon this site. Unfortunately, that's all we've got to go on, so I can’t offer much more detail. Oh, and just a heads up, they never leave a message either.11 yearsGet this sorted out, will you?11 yearsWe received a call from this number that didn’t sound a bell-the phone rang once and fell silent. Then, mere moments later, the same number rang again, and this time someone was actually on the line.12 yearsWe recently received yet another silent call from this number, which led me to do a bit of digging online and stumble upon this site! It's been really irritating to get these calls without any words on the other end. I sincerely wish they'd just knock it off, as far as I'm aware, we don't owe them a penny. If they've got something to say, for goodness' sake, just say it! Quite fed up with this nonsense. Cheers, Jon.Jon12 yearsWe’ve completely stopped answering the phone the moment it starts ringing. Instead, we just wait and then call 1471 to see who it was. It really seems to thwart whatever schemes they might have. Anyway, after countless annoyances with those endless TV adverts, I’m hoping that all this random cold calling gets the same treatment. Here’s hoping! Sending all my best!147112 yearsI reckon that was definitely a call from Southwest Water chasing up a late payment! 😄Southwest Water12 yearsReceived a call from this number around six in the evening, but there was nobody on the line when I picked up. At least I’ve managed to identify that it belongs to South West Water!South West Water12 yearsThis number gave us a ring twice but didn’t say a word, and the area code was Exeter. Cheers for the tip-off regarding South West Water, but I must say it’s quite infuriating! Considering how much I fork out for my water bill, one would think they’d have someone on standby to answer the phone whenever these calls come through, right?ExeterSouth WestWater12 yearsI've come across this situation. What steps do I need to follow to get out of it?12 yearsI received a call from this number at nine o’clock last night, and they had already tried to reach me six times earlier that same day. When I finally picked up, there was no one on the other end! They’ve clearly dialled at least a hundred times before deciding to let it go. It’s incredibly intrusive, especially since it woke my children from their slumber. This sort of harassment needs to be dealt with immediately!12 yearsI received a call from this number at around 6:25 in the evening. A woman answered, kept saying 'hello', and then abruptly disconnected the call. When I tried to return the call, I was greeted by a voicemail from South West Water, detailing their office hours, which are supposedly 8 in the morning until 6 in the evening. Quite peculiar, as I thought the office would be closed at that time!South West Water12 yearsThis has just occurred to us, and believe it or not, it's not the first time either!12 yearsI received this number earlier today for the first time, and honestly, I can’t wait for the day when cold calling gets banned! It would bring so much more tranquility to our lives. It baffles me how these callers can't grasp why folks get frustrated or even a bit irate when their persistent ringing interrupts our evenings, especially around meal times, like tea or dinner. The level of annoyance is through the roof, and I genuinely feel like giving them a piece of my mind! Signing up with an opt-out service seems utterly pointless, as it doesn’t appear to help one bit.Submit Your Own Report (01392 672471)
