So this guy, Alec, with a really thick accent from BT called me. I didn’t really wanna pick up but I couldn’t see properly without my reading specs. I thought it was someone I was waiting for, but as soon as I realised who it was, I just told him to buzz off and hung up straight away.

some bloke called alec, had a proper thick accent, said he was from bt. i picked up by mistake cause i couldnt see the number clearly without my glasses, i thought it was someone i was waiting for. told him to jog on and just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Openreach about issues with my internet. I get my internet through Virgin, so I instantly felt it was dodgy and just ended the call.

I got a call from 01392666792 at around 9.28 on Friday the 19th of March, but as soon as I picked up, they just dropped the call.

Got a call from this number around 8 in the morning, sounded like a call centre with a foreign accent. The bloke claimed he was with British Telecom and said my internet's running slow, offering to fix it in 5 minutes. I told him to call me again at midday, but honestly, I don't plan on picking up.

Got two calls from this number within a couple hours. First time, no one spoke, just some non-British sounding voice leaving a message saying "are you there?". Could hear loads of noise like a busy call centre in the background. Quite annoying.
