I got this automated call saying my card was used for some dodgy international purchase worth more than £600 and it sounded really fishy. I just ended the call straight away - definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

somebody rang me sayin they’re from virgin. told them i’m actually with bt and then he just goes, “we’re cutting off your virgin now” and slammed the phone down.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin Media about some problem with my connection and something about my bank, but it wasn’t clear what. They couldn’t give me any details to prove they were legit or knew who I was. Felt a bit dodgy, so I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin Media and wanted to chat about some problems with my internet. I told them I’m not a Virgin Media customer and they just cut the call straight away.
